üMobile is the newest and the first ad-funded mobile network in the Philippines. Ad-funded in the sense that it is free for users because the advertisers pay for it. When you get hold of their SIM card, you will be given Php100 load every month for six months, and you’ll get a cool SIM card with a mobile number starting with 0999.
I haven’t received my SIM card yet, but I already got an e-mail informing me that I am already accepted on their network and the SIM card is already on the way to my house. 🙂 How did I get in? Someone from them contacted me and gave me an Invite Code. Oh, the perks of being a blogger. 🙂
Right now, I already have a üMobile online account even if I’m still waiting for my SIM card. I checked my uMobile account today and found out that I have 10 Invite Codes that I can give away for free.
I already used one Invite Code which I gave to my girlfriend (who else?). So, I still have 9 Invite Codes. Who wants one? All you have to do is leave a comment on this blog post with your complete name and e-mail address and I will send you an invite as soon as I get back online again. (I’m quite busy nowadays.)
