I don’t earn that much on Adsense For Search. Not as much as my earnings on Adsense For Content. But still, an extra bucks from it is better than nothing. 🙂
This month, I already earned $37 on Adsense For Search. Just a fraction of my total Adsense earnings, but enough to buy 3 domain names, right?
Here are my tips for Adsense For Search optimization on blogs.
1. Setup your Adsense for Search default to Sitesearch your blog. Here’s how to do it. You don’t want to lose your visitors immediately, right? If they can find what they are looking for in your blog, that’s better.
2. Use the Adsense for Search with the Google logo. It gives people the assurance that they’ll get quality results if they use that search box.
3. Put your Adsense for Search box above the fold. So that people can see it immediately. The more eyeballs, the more people will use it.
4. Remove the competition. Remove other search boxes in your blog. The WordPress search box? Remove it. Without the competition, the only way for people to search your blog is to use the Adsense For Search box. 🙂 Don’t worry about the search result, Google search result is better than the WordPress search result. Just make sure that your blog is properly indexed by Google.
Again, this has no guarantee whatsoever. I’m just sharing what works for me. Just look at this blog. All I’ve written here is applied on this blog. Try it!
