So, you have a cool blog and a nice feed bait that I find myself subscribing to your RSS feeds. Cool! Now, 1 subscriber is added to your feed subscriber count. Cool!
Now, the challenge is how to retain these subscribers. How do you make them stay? Well, here is a hint. Here are the top 3 reasons why I unsubscribe to your RSS feeds. This might be a guide for you to retain me as your loyal subscriber. So, why do I unsubscribe?
1. You became a lazy blogger. You were so enthusiastic and updates regularly when I subscribed, but after a month or two, I haven’t seen an update from your blog. What’s the use of keeping my subscription if I have nothing to read in the first place?
2. Your posts became boring. I thought you were funny and witty. What happened? For the past two weeks or so, your posts suddenly became boring? I hate boring posts as much as you do.
3. You suddenly became addicted to sponsored posts! All of a sudden, all I read from your blog are sponsored posts, well, at least 99%! I’m not against sponsored post, but take it lightly. Don’t make it the central theme of your blog. Don’t lose your blog personality by posting too much sponsored posts!
Well, that’s all about it. If you want me to become your loyal subscriber, avoid doing those three, ok? Happy weekend!

Geezz.. good thing I got suspended from PPP! 😀
Yeah I don’t like the majority of the posts to be sponsored either. People should spread them out or be more clever when working it into a personal post.

I couldn’t agree more. Miski namaraming opps for me, ayoko yata na puro sponsored posts lang ang entries because earning money is not the PRIMARY reason why I blog. Of course, it nice to earn some extra cash. Pero kung puro sponsored posts lang, it will the REAL purpose of blogging, especially kung personal diary ang type ng blog.
Boring and rainy sunday for me kaya nakibasa at nag-comment na rin. 🙂
This is a good reminder to bloggers like me who do sponsored posts. I remember the first few weeks I started doing sponsored posts I became more focused on it rather on my normal topics. 🙂
