It was Thursday night, around 9:00PM when our landlady asked me to accompany her husband to the nearest clinic because he’s complaining of chest pain. I thought, it was just an ordinary chest pain, he’s not that weak, and was able to walk and sat beside me as I drive my car to the clinic. After being admitted inside, I waited and expected that he’ll be back soon.
When they checked his blood pressure, it was on 200/100. The doctor administered many tests on him. Later, around 1:00AM, they told me that I didn’t have to wait for them anymore because he’ll be confined. So, I left the place expecting that he’ll be ok soon.
I did not see him since then. And yesterday night when I went back to our boarding house, I was shocked when I found out that he’s already dead. Our landlady told me that from the clinic, they brought him to Philippine Heart Center and there, after hours of struggling for his life, he died. He actually suffered from a heart attack.
Tito Jun, as what we usually call him, died last April 28, 2007 at around 2:00AM. With this, I express my deepest sympathy and extend my condolence to his family.
